People seek counselling for many different reasons. Some have a specific goal in mind and they would like support to make changes, others have a feeling something isn't quite right and want to talk about their worries with someone who really listens. Your difficulties could be deeply rooted in your past, or they may be brand new concerns. Counselling offers you time and space to explore what is happening in your life and to feel heard and understood. Talking can help you gain perspective, explore options and make changes in order to feel less anxious and more content.

I have worked with all age groups and many different issues over my career. My areas of particular interest and specialism are anxiety, working with women, especially women going through life change, and teenagers, but clients come to me with a range of experiences such as anger, low self-esteem, stress, trauma, relationship difficulties, grief, family conflict, depression and burn-out. I am also able to support parents and carers of children and young people experiencing mental health difficulties.
